Full Description

A clay pit marked on the 1st & 2nd Ed OS County series maps is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs from 1941 (S1) & 1944 (S2) in north Kessingland. The modern map shows that this feature has since been built over, and is now covered by houses in Kipling Close and Strowger's Way.
