Full Description

A small circular earthwork, c 7m across is visible close to the cliffs at Kessingland on aerial photographs from 1941 (S1). It appears to be a gun emplacement of World War II date. Photographs from March 1944 (S2) show that the feature has been ploughed out, as it is only showing up as a cropmark at this date.
