Full Description

A section of beach defence scaffolding, which formed part of the wider county coastal defence system during WWII, can be seen on aerial photographs from early 1943 (S1). It joins up with coastal defence scaffolding in the Covehithe parish, and turns inland to the north of Easton Marshes, before heading south alongside Reydon Common Marshes and terminating at the north bank of Buss Creek. The feature is not visible on earlier aerial photographs.
