Full Description

A series of partial cropmarks are visible on land in the eastern part of Blythburgh (S1,S2). Some of the cropmarks are linear features, possibly fragments of ditched enclosures, while some may be relatively recent relict land divisions. There also appear to be some pit-type features among the linears. Unfortunately the fragmentary nature of the cropmarks means that it is difficult to tell how they relate to each other and virtually impossible to assign them a date or function.
