Full Description

A small structure with what could be barbed wire encircling it can be seen on the beach at Felixstowe in 1944. (S1) (S2) It may be a feature of World War II date, such as a pillbox or gun emplacement, but it is also in a similar position to a 'Windlass' marked on a map from 1904. (S3) There is a structure in this position in 1965 but it is difficult to tell if it is the same structure as in 1944. (S4)
