Full Description

A linear feature, probably a ditch, can be seen running across an area of grass in front of the hall at RAF Bawdsey. It was constructed some time before July 1940 and has virtually disappeared by 1948. It may have been an anti-aircraft ditch, designed to prevent aircraft from landing. (S1) (S2) (S3)
