Full Description

A number of lengths of barbed wire obstruction can be seen running along fields to the north side of RAF Bawdsey in 1944 from roughly TM336382 to TM340385. The barbed wire is of World War II date, having been constructed some time after July 1940 and been mostly removed by October 1945. It would have formed part of the extensive anti-invasion defences surrounding RAF Bawdsey during World War II. (S1) (S2) (S3)
