Full Description
A hexagonal pillbox can be seen on photographs from July 1940 onwards. (S1) By April 1944 a long slit trench has been constructed, running north along the side of the road. (S2) By October 1945 the slit trench is barely visible but the pillbox remains. (S3)
It appears that the pillbox had been removed by 1952.
