Full Description

A section of sea bank c 650m long is visible as an earthwork on 1945 aerial photographs (S1). It runs between TM49357421 & TM49907434 and is not complete, but in 3 main sections. The bank would have been a part of the flood defences in this area and may well date to the post-medieval period, as a number of similar features in this area do.
