Full Description
A small slit trench, of World War II date, is visible as an earthwork at TM49667448, to the west of Walberswick, on 1941 aerial photographs (S1). It is likely that it was used for practice purposes during the World War II period. The trench has been filled in by 1945 (S2), but the area where it is still distinctive from the rest of the grassland in the area.
