Full Description

Three small square structures are visible on aerial photographs from 1941 (S1) on the beach to the north of Dunwich. They are close to an area of minefield on the beach. The two small, northerly structures are 2-3m across, while the more southerly building is c6m across. The larger building may be a pillbox, judging by its size and shape, however the structures do not seem to be visible on photographs from 1945 (S2), which would suggest that they were perhaps temporary military structures, rather than something more permanent, such as a pillbox.
