Full Description
A number of rectangular features can be seen cut into the salt-marsh at the edge of the River Deben, in Ramsholt parish, on aerial photographs taken from the 1940's onwards. It is possible that the features at TM29894209 and TM30014205 may be natural features but the rectangular cut feature at TM29954205 appears to be man-made and may have been constructed to provide shelter for a small boat. (S1) (S2) This feature appears to be silting up by 1948. (S3)
