Full Description

Two possible Post Medieval extraction pits, centred on TM 28824071, can be seen as earthworks on aerial photographs. There are two hollows, one roughly 42m by 37m located at TM 28914072 and one 62m by 40m located at TM 28734070. The fact that the features have been partially ploughed smooth by the 1940s suggests that they may be of Post Medieval date. (S1) (S2)
