Full Description

A probable quarry pit of unknown date, centred on TM 26854778, can be seen as an earthwork and cropmark on Kyson Hill on aerial photographs. The quarry is approximately 67m at its widest point and a hollow area is visible as an earthwork. It was possibly used for the extraction of sand and gravel. (S1-S3)
