Full Description

A World War II pillbox is visible on aerial photographs a structure centred on TM24383418. The pillbox is roughly 4m squared, and may have an external blast wall. It appears to been located to provide defence for the air-raid shelter described in record SLY 088, and the Heavy Anti-aircraft Artillery battery recorded in SLY 089. The pillbox has been removed by 1947. (S1, S2).
