Full Description
A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on TM23333444. The ring ditch is circa 12-14m in diameter and the ditch is on average 1-1.5m in width. This may be the site of a large round house of late prehistoric date or a small round barrow of Bronze Age date, but without excavation it is not possible to be sure. The feature is located to the southern edge of two cropmark landscapes. The first is probably late-prehistoric or Roman (ARW 020), and the second is probably medieval or post-medieval in date (see SLY 044).
