Full Description

A probable World War II pillbox is visible as a structure on aerial photographs from the 1940s onwards, at TM 28913334, near the sewage works at Felixstowe port. The pillbox is about 3.5m square and has a blast wall on its south-eastern side. (S1) It is more clearly visible on post-war photography and has been removed by 1989. (S2) (S3)
