Full Description

A possible rectilinear earthwork enclosure of unknown date and function is visible, centred on TM 27363601 west of Keeper's Lodge, Trimley St Mary, on aerial photographs taken from 1944 onwards. The ditches enclose an area of around 55m by 24m. (S1) (S2) By 1982 the enclosure has been ploughed out and another short linear ditch is visible as a cropmark to the west. The features may be related to modern drainage. See TYY 019 for pottery found nearby. (S3)
