Full Description

A possible World War II bomb crater is visible as an earthwork at TM 25973625 near Cuttings Wood, Trimley St Martin, on aerial photographs taken in 1944 and 1946. The crater is 7m in diameter but has a much larger discoloured area surrounding it, possibly loose spoil, on the photographs from 1944. If the feature does represent a bomb crater then the bomb must have been dropped at some point between 6th July 1944 and 15th August 1944. (S1) (S2)
