Full Description
Linear field boundaries of unknown date are visible as cropmarks of ditches on aerial photographs, centred on TM 26453657 to the south of Alston Hall, Trimley St Martin. The linear ditches cover an area 0.135 km2 and are aligned north-west to south-east or north-east to south-west, although no clear pattern of enclosures is visible. Within the linear field boundaries a possible rectangular enclosure is visible, centred on TM 26353656, measuring 30m by 11m. Three possible trackways are also visible centred on TM 26563657, TM 26263637 and TM 26253640. The date of the boundaries is unclear. (S1) (S2) (S3) (S4)
