Full Description

A possible World War II gun emplacement is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1944 onwards, centred on TM 28413155 to the south of Landguard Fort on Landguard Point, Felixstowe. The feature consists of a small earthwork enclosure measuring roughly 5m square and it may have functioned as an embanked gun post. (S1) (S2)
