Full Description
A World War II military site is visible as earthworks and structures in the grounds of the Manor House Hotel, Felixstowe, on aerial photographs taken in 1944, centred on TM 29173280. A slit trench is visible in the centre of the site which may be related to a buried structure of some type. The extra barbed wire and anti-tank cubes defending this particular area also suggest that it contains more than a slit trench alone. Inland, to the north-west of the trench, a small circular feature is visible at TM 29123282, which may be a small bomb crater. (S1) (S2)
