Full Description

A possible Iron age or Roman ditched square enclosure is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs from 1959, some 360m to the north east of Valley farm Sudbourne, centred on circa TM43725323 (S1). The enclosure appears to be 20 x 20m in size, and is bounded by a ditch circa 1.5-2.5m in width. The enclosure may be associated with the possible trackway to the south (see PAR SUE 002).
