Full Description

A possible World War II aircraft obstruction is visible as a structure on aerial photographs taken in 1944, centred on TM 21174014 in a field to the south of Lady Wood Cottages, Nacton. The obstruction consists of an isolated row of poles around 175m in length which does not cross the whole of the field. Its nature suggests that it may never have been completed or has been partially removed by the time the photographs were taken. (S1) (S2)
