Full Description

A possible Prehistoric circular ditched enclosure is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, located at TM20024096 to the north of Robert's Grove in Ipswich parish. The enclosure consists of a narrow ditch enclosing an area of roughly 39m in diameter. The large gap in the southern side of the enclosure is probably where the cropmark has not developed properly, rather than being an entrance. The size and shape of the enclosure suggests that it may be of Prehistoric date. (S1-S3).
