Full Description

(S1) (S2) (S3) (S4) The ditches represent where 18th century field boundaries, as shown on the 'Ipswich, Nacton and Levington' map of 1768-1770 (S5), have been grubbed out. Many of the field boundaries depicted were still in use in the late 19th century (S6) or are still visible on the modern base map. (S7)
