Full Description
A ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1977, centred on circa TM38514771, about 300m to the east of Dock Farm, Boyton parish. The ring ditch is circa 20m in diameter and probably represents the ditch surrounding a Bronze Age round barrow. However, due to the presence of possible late prehistoric boundaries and trackways in the area the possibility that it is the remains of a drip gully of a large Iron Age roundhouse cannot be discounted (see BOY 025).
