Full Description

Four possible Light Anti-aircraft Artillery gun earthwork emplacements are visible on aerial photographs of 1945, centred on circa TM38684632, Boyton parish (S1). They are visible as roughly circular shallow earthwork emplacements about 10m in diameter, surrounded by an area of ground disturbed by vehicle tracks. No guns are visible by 1945. Two similar emplacements are visible about 550m to the north east (see BOY 050). A group of buildings to the north west may have acted as support structures for this battery (see BOY 046, BOY 048).
