Full Description

A possible ring ditch is visible as a cropmark or parchmark in grass on aerial photographs, centred on TM 16503489 in the playing fields to the south of the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook. The ring ditch encloses an area of on average 19m in diameter. There is a possibility that the ring ditch relates to some form of modern recreational activity which has taken place on the playing fields, such as the marking out of football pitches. (S1) (S2)
