Full Description

Ditched defined trackways and field boundaries of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks to the east of Manor Land, centred on circa TM14593452, Stutton parish. Features can be seen on two orientations, roughly south-west to north-east and roughly north to south. The south-west to north-east boundaries match the alignment of similar features visible further west and are almost certainly part of the same system of land use system (see STU 009). The north to south trackway is less regular in form, with a dogleg about 40 from its northern end and may relate to boundaries and possible trackways on a similar alignment visible approximately 500m to the south-west (see STU 069). The features do not relate to the existing field boundaries and are probably prehistoric in date, but cannot be dated with any certainty without excavation.
