Full Description
A number of possible rectangular pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, cut into the saltmarsh to the south of Wall Farm Wharf, Holbrook Bay at TM 17343478. The largest and most complete pit measures 6m by 4m. The other pits are visible as straight edges cut into the saltmarsh. The pits are located along a water channel at the estuary side of the seabank. (S1)
