Full Description

Structures of possible post medieval or modern date are visible eroding from the beach at Leiston, centred on circa TM47866609. They may relate to the World War Two beach scaffolding recorded immediately to the west in LCS 119. However, a slipway is marked on the second edition Ordnance Survey map of circa 1904 in this area and although the features resemble posts rather than a hardened they may relate to the construction of this feature.
