Full Description

Sections of a field system of probable prehistoric date can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs, to the north-east of Walk Farm, Stratton Hall parish, Centred on circa TM25663947. The possible field boundaries are visible as linear cropmarks, possibly caused by ditched boundaries or the removal of boundary hedges. They are orientated on an axis roughly north-west to south-east and may be associated with the linear trackway recorded as TYN 055 and the extensive cropmark field systems to the west (SNH 005).
