Full Description

An embanked road or track of unknown date is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork on Brightwell heath, Foxhall parish, centred on circa TM238443. The banks are roughly 1 to 1.5 metres wide and circa 5 metres apart, and are visible running parallel in a north to south direction for circa 180 metres. It is not possible to be sure of the date of this feature, but it is on a similar alignment to tracks and field systems visible to the west and may be part of the same complex (see FXL 038).
