Full Description

A radar station of Second World War date, possibly a temporary early receiving station, precursor to a site circa 2 kilometres to the west, is visible on aerial photographs as a number of structures, buildings and two towers or masts, to the north of Foxhall Road, Foxhall parish, centred on circa 242441. The more permanent station to the west appears to have been part of the Martlesham Heath airbase complex, an extensive military site which has been recorded as ????, but not transcribed. (S1)
