Full Description

A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on circa TM261428 to the west of Newbourne village, the northern edge of the feature partially obscured by a field boundary. The ring ditch may be the remains of a round barrow of Bronze Age date, but without excavation it is not possible to be sure. The identification of this feature slightly extends the distribution of a group to the north, that includes NBN 002-6, NBN 016, NBN 022. (S1)
