Full Description

A possible landscaped park or garden feature, possibly a ha-ha or terracing, can be seen as earthworks on aerial photographs, to the south of Bealings House, Great Bealings parish. It is visible as a possible curvilinear ditch or terrace slope, crossing the parkland to the south of Bealings House in a curve from circa TM241486 to circa TM244488, possibly with a break for the drive or approach to Bealings House. The date of this feature is unknown but would probably be associated with the house, and therefore be late 18th century in date. The available photographs are not of sufficient quality to allow an accurate transcription of this feature. (S1)
