Full Description

Field boundaries of definite post-medieval date, but possibly medieval origin, can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Woodbridge, centred on circa TM255492. The field boundaries are marked on both the First and Second Edition Ordnance Survey maps of circa 1884 and 1904, and were therefore probably n use during the later post-medieval period. They have been transcribed, however, as the main east-west boundary follows the line of the parish boundary and may be the origin of this boundary, possibly dating from the medieval period. (S1-S4)
