Full Description

A possible ring ditch can be seen on aerial photographs as a cropmark circa 550 metres to the north-east of Bucklesham village, Bucklesham parish, centred on circa TM248424. The possible ring ditch is indistinct and bisected by a change in crop, but if it is indeed a ring ditch, it is of circa 16 metres diameter. Alternatively, it may be non-archaeological in origin, possibly an area of naturally occurring deeper soils. (S1)
