Full Description

Probable anti-aircraft obstructions of Second World War date are visible on Stow Fen to the south of the River Waveney, on aerial photographs of the 1940s, Bungay parish, centred on circa TM 325883. It is not possible to see the individual obstructions, which probably took the form of poles, but the patches of disturbed ground into which they would have been set are clearly visible, arranged in parallel and interconnected rows between the river and Broad Water. Similar obstructions can be seen approximately 2 kilometres to the north. (S1)
