Full Description

A square bank-defined enclosure of possible medieval date is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the north of Valley House, Mettingham parish, centred on circa TM359909. The function of the enclosure is unclear but may be the internal bank of the possible moat complex described in MTT 009. (S1)
