Full Description

A rectilinear or square ditched enclosure containing a small ring ditch, both possibly of later prehistoric date, are visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks, at circa TM 401893 to the south of Bungay Road, Barsham parish. The western boundary of the enclosure may only partly be visible, the visible cropmark suggesting an area of approximately 44 metres squared for the enclosure. The ring ditch is circa 9 metres in diameter, the cropmark possibly forming over a narrow and shallow ditch such as the drip gulley enclosing a round house of later prehistoric or Roman date. (S1)
