Full Description
Possible drains or ridge and furrow of probable medieval or post-medieval date, just to the east of and maybe associated with Mettingham Hall, are visible as earthworks on 1950s aerial photographs. Several parallel linear banks and ditches running east west in a field immediately to the east of Mettingham Hall at circa TM368897 may be the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation or a system of field drains. The banks appear to be on average 5 metres wide. (S1)
