Full Description

An earthwork bank visible on aerial photographs crossing Beccles Marshes from circa TM 432920 to TM 436920 is probably the remains of a causewayed path or track of medieval or post-medieval date. The bank can be seen on aerial photographs of 1945, diverging eastwards from a pathway still marked on the current base map to cross Beccles Marshes(S1). By 1966 the earthwork has been levelled by ploughing. (S2).
