Full Description

The remains of slit trenches of probable First World War date are visible cropmarks and subtle earthworks on the southern edge of Beccles Common golf course, at circa TM 432905. The trenches, adjacent to a track leading to Woodview Farm, are mostly of stepped or crenellated shape, typical of such trenches. (S1)
