A curvilinear causewayed track of possible medieval date is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork to the north of Firhill Covert, Worlingham parish, centred on circa TM 4469121. The visible earthwork is approximately 375 metres in length but it is likely it originally continued towards Firhill Covert to the south, along a curvilinear route now demarcated by flanking drainage channels. The curvilinear form of the causeway contrasts with the regularity of the surrounding system of drainage ditches; the drains probably post-date the causeway but were constructed to accommodate the pre-existing route.
