Full Description

A causeway of probable post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork to the north of White House Farm, Barnby parish, at circa TM 492910. The causeway currently provides access from White House Farm to the reclaimed marshland to the north. However, as the track to which it leads, flanked by probably post-medieval date drains, is irregular in shape, it may formalise an earlier route. (S1)
