After an initial negative evaluation, a second phase of work identified two post-medieval ditches. The site had been hevaily disturbed so it is unlikley that any earlier features would have survived.

Evaluation uncovered 2 post-medieval drains and post-medieval and modern finds as well as deposits suggesting the medieval moat once continued into the area.
