Burnt flint patch, 60 x 30m in a wet area in the NE corner of the field, located during the Fenland survey 1985 (S1).

Circa 1978: (re-?) excavation of site supposedly dug up circa 1918 (& claimed to be linked to search for hidden Mildenhall Treasure - see MNL 231 and S1) by John Gadd et al, confirmed presence of Post Medieval/Recent pit at this location.

1970s: metal detected finds suggesting probable Early Saxon cemetery found in SW part of Roman site (see Rom).

Two coiled finger rings (one thicker than other).

Small polished stone axehead.
