Two lighthouses were erected at Corton for Sir John Clayton between 1669 and 1675. These were extinguished in 1678. (1)

2 sherds Early Medieval pottery.

2 x anti-tank cylinders and 1 x anti-tank cube, all with metal rings at top. Positioned on their sides at top of shallow bank and may have been repositioned from their original site by the road [roadblock].

Two possible piers or landing stages, of unknown date, visible as structures on the intertidal mud southeast of Black Heath house.

Flint axe, partly polished, probably unfinished, found in the garden.
